Job description
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large, multi-year portfolio of work contributing to the establishment of our client. This role involves close collaboration with IT and delivery for the client and as well as key system integration partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, multi-year projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Build strong relationships with university IT teams, vendors, and delivery partners while managing budgets and schedules.
- Oversee stakeholder engagement, apply Agile methodologies, and support IT Operating Model development.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in project, program, or portfolio management with strong financial, scheduling, and Agile delivery expertise.
- Proven ability to manage vendors and senior stakeholders with effective negotiation skills.
- Background in higher education, mergers & acquisitions, and IT Operating Model development is desirable.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Project/Program Management or related field.
- Program Management Certification (e.g., AIPM Certified Practicing Project Director, PMI-PMP).
- Agile Certification (e.g., SAFe) preferred.
