Job description

THE ROLE

Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Data Migration Consultant to support a major SAP S/4HANA migration project. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale enterprise transformation, ensuring data integrity, quality, and seamless migration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the data migration effort for SAP S/4HANA, ensuring high data quality and consistency.

  • Design, implement, and monitor ETL processes using SAP Data Services (BODS).

  • Utilise SAP Information Steward to manage enterprise data quality, metadata, and business rules.

  • Conduct data analysis, mapping, and validation to ensure accuracy in migration.

  • Develop SQL queries for data extraction, cleansing, and transformation.

  • Create Power BI reports and dashboards to track migration progress and data health.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to align data migration with organisational needs.

  • Collaborate with technical teams using SAP Cloud ALM and JIRA for project coordination.

  • Apply Python (nice to have) for automation, data manipulation, and advanced analytics.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Expertise in SAP BODS and SAP Information Steward for data migration and quality management.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.

  • Experience in data analysis to ensure integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.

  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI for reporting and visualisation.

  • Strong business acumen, particularly in SAP-driven environments.

  • Experience in leading technical and business data analyst teams.

  • Strong planning and reporting skills for tracking data migration objects.

  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM and JIRA for project management.
