Technical Lead

Our client is looking for a Technical Lead with deep expertise in application architecture, integration strategies, and AWS cloud solutions. This role will provide a unique opportunity to drive high-level design, manage capacity planning, handle risk management, and oversee vendor relationships in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

1. Application & Integration Architecture:

• Lead the design, architecture, and integration of business-critical applications and systems, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Collaborate with internal teams to leverage the latest technologies and AWS services.
• Establish standards for application development and integration, ensuring consistent and high-quality outcomes across teams.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand high-level business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
• Act as the design authority to ensure solutions align with business needs and technical capabilities, maintaining the integrity of the system architecture.
• Evaluate new requirements and changes to ensure they fit within the overall architecture and that they can be integrated efficiently into existing systems.

• Lead the capacity planning for cloud resources, ensuring that applications are able to scale dynamically and efficiently based on user demands.
• Monitor system performance and usage trends to anticipate future capacity needs, working proactively to avoid performance bottlenecks.
• Design and implement auto-scaling solutions for both infrastructure and applications, ensuring continuous availability and performance during peak demand.

• Identify, assess, and manage technical risks associated with applications, integrations, and AWS-based systems.
• Work with project managers to mitigate risks, establish contingency plans, and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement proactive strategies to minimize potential technical disruptions.

• Manage relationships with third-party technology vendors and service providers, ensuring high performance and cost-efficiency.
• Lead vendor evaluations, selecting the best solutions and partners that meet both technical requirements and business needs.

Your Experience

• Expertise in application architecture, system integration, and cloud computing, with deep experience in designing and managing cloud-based solutions using AWS services
• Strong experience with cloud-native application development and microservices architectures.
• Proven track record of designing complex integration solutions, both on-premise and cloud-based.

• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving technical initiatives from concept through to execution.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, gathering requirements, and explaining complex technical concepts in non-technical terms.
• Strong design authority, with the ability to guide teams on best practices, architectural decisions, and overall project alignment.
• Experience in capacity planning and ensuring systems can scale efficiently to meet business needs.
• Excellent risk management skills, including the ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively address them.
