Job description
Key accountabilities
- Identify and define test cases for data migration/integration, validate data transformations in line with data mapping artifact.
- Execute manual testing using SQL, Python/Databrick, JIRA, and Excel, perform defect analysis and logging, document and manage defects.
- Create/modify the SQL test scripts as per the ETL mapping documents.
- Design and implement lean testing practices for system integration and data migration initiatives using Agile-Scrum Delivery.
Essential
- Proven experience in the planning, design and execution of test plans and test cases (automated and/or manual) for functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience in two or more of the following testing disciplines and supporting technologies: Test automation, Performance / load / stress, Accessibility, Interoperability, System, Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance.
- Advanced SQL/T-SQL skills and experience
- Knowledge of contemporary data warehousing methodologies and DBT.
- Experience in using Azure DevOps Test Plan or similar tools
Desirable
- Relevant tertiary or industry qualification (e.g. ITIL, ISTQB).
- Experience and understanding of the Superannuation.
- Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
About the successful candidate:
- Strong analytical skills with extensive experience in large scale, complex programs with multiple moving parts, diverse teams and high stakes.
- Ability to analyse software to identify any issues or bugs, ensuring the product is of the highest quality.
- Financial/insurance background very much preferred.
- Fineos or Hekka system (preferable)
