Test Manager

• 12 month contract + potential for extension
• Day rate up to $1000 inclusive depending on provided experience
• Hybrid Working Environment - WFH/Office

A highly respected government body is seeking an experienced Test Manager to join their team and help ensure the quality and success of their services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of testers to deliver high-quality products that meet project goals and quality standards.
• Serve as the liaison between vendor teams, system owners, technical teams, project management, and business teams on all testing matters.
• Assist the delivery of prerequisites and blockers required for the start of each test phase.
• Work with source system owners and TDS teams to address connectivity and technical requirements.
• Develop, assess, and acquire approval of test strategy, test plans, and test cases.
• Ensure test traceability matrix alignment with business requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful test execution.
• Provide clear and concise daily and summary test progress reports.
• Facilitate efficient defect resolution through effective chairing of defect triage meetings.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with enterprise-level organisations. Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a Test Manager/Test Lead role.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 testing is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with test automation (minimum 2 years) is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience supporting digital design, development, testing, and business change management activities.
• Experience developing test strategy, test plans, and test cases for large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with UI testing and API testing.
• Good understanding of non-functional test methodology.
• Experience in data migration testing, performance testing, and accessibility testing is a plus.
