Job description

Our client is a large South Australian government department, who currently require a Technical Writer to join them on an initial contract through to the end of the year with a three month extension on offer - 6 month contract total.

The Details:

The department goes through 4 year regulatory cycles where they define their strategy and goals for the next 4 years. They have begun as of 1st of July the next cycle. This individual will be working in the Governance, Assurance, Risk and Compliance team. The team has completed many workshops already, across many business units to understand the needs of these business units and how it translates into their workflows and technical requirements moving forward. This individual, will need to be able to hit the ground running, able to work with a large portfolio of existing data and collate this into clear. Concise, playbooks/governance guidelines.

Key skills:

  • Previous experience in writing, updating and delivering technical documentation including release notes: user guides, reference manuals, admin guides etc.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross functional stakeholders and technical SMEs to deliver the documentation.
  • Analyse existing and potential content
  • Adapt to new project requirements and meet tight deadlines.
