THE ROLE
As the Senior Monitoring Engineer (SCOm) you will provide the department with:
- Support for the Windows Server Infrastructure support.
- Technical advice to clients; as well as other technical resources
- Produce documentation, processes, procedures and reports in line with Departmental documentation standards
- The ability to work outside the core support hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday
- The ability to perform on-call duties when rostered
- Participate in on team support rosters for providing support to our clients and ensuring that the server infrastructure is operating without fault
MANDATORY
- Expert level experience with Windows Servers and Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager (SCOM)
- High level of experience with Azure B2C, ADFS.
- High level of experience with Powershell Scripting.
- Experience with ITIL modelled Change and Release Management Experience with ITIL modelled Change and Release Management in a large enterprise setting.
- High level of experience with writing technical documentation
- Experience administering Microsoft Office 365.
HIGHLY DESIREABLE
- Experience with Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager
- Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager
- Experience with C#.
- Experience with Microsoft Conditional Access and Security Compliance methodologies.
- Microsoft Certifications around Server Administration and associated technologies.
