Job description

Our client, an integral and extremely important government department, is requiring the services of an Asset Manager to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and lead internal process to ensure financial integrity throughout the P2P cycle, data accuracy, and provide insightful reporting to enable strategic decision making and drive better performance and value across this department's statewide assets.

Essential Requirements:

  • Own, manage and oversee the annual creation and confirmation of the (asset) install base (iBase) for the Asset & Facilities Management Online (AFMO) platform, to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance
  • Own, manage and oversee a centralized system for tracking equipment changes by supplier, ensuring smooth operation and timely updates.
  • Take charge of (P2P) invoicing and billing processes, through liaison with stakeholders (finance, operations, asset management and the Contracts Management team)
  • Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate and improve invoice workflow management and resolution, including liaison for approvals and efficient resolution of discrepancies.
  • Handle ad-hoc invoices received outside of the regular process, collaborating closely with Operations to maintain financial integrity and accuracy of data.

Desirable:

  • A sound understanding of financial processes and systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Data Management: Maintaining accurate records of equipment changes, with multiple stakeholders, and suppliers requires attention to detail and sound data management skills.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinating with various internal stakeholders. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Balancing the needs and expectations of different teams while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and data integrity.
