Our QLD client, one of Australia's Largest Local Governments is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Solution Architect to join them on their Enterprise Business Platform (EBP) Team, to lead the way in modernising operations and enhancing services to their local community !
THE ROLE
As the Solution Architect within the EBP, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering key outcomes for transformative digital projects. These initiatives focus on the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 as a core enterprise capability and uplifting the departments internal ICT models to align with Agile, DevOps, product line management, and continuous improvement principles.
You'll work collaboratively within a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team to design, develop, and implement robust solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365, leveraging Azure capabilities. Reporting to the Lead Platform Architect, this role offers the opportunity to lead solution architecture activities and contribute to the departments evolving technical landscape.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Enterprise and Security Architects to define and endorse solution approaches and design artefacts.
- Develop and deliver high-quality architecture artefacts, including Current Analysis, High-Level Designs, and Implementation Architectures.
- Provide expert technical guidance to developers, ensuring alignment with solution designs and best practices.
DELIVERABLES
- Solution Architecture Artefacts, including detailed designs, implementation approaches, and options analysis.
- Technical specifications for procurement and vendor evaluation (as required).
- Migration and implementation plans for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
- Governance processes and best practices for Power Platform support services.
KEY SKILLS
- Significant experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
- Expertise in Azure services and event-driven integration capabilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft data technologies such as MS SQL Data Warehouses and Power BI.
- A strong track record of developing architecture artefacts, including high-level designs, patterns, and implementation approaches.
- Strong experience with Dynamics Field Service, including designing and delivering solutions for mobile workforce management and field operations.
DESIREABLE
- Knowledge of probabilistic matching and golden record management.
- Previous experience within large,, complex organisations.
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Business or a related Field.
