We are looking for a A Guidewire Developer who is responsible for designing, developing, and customizing Guidewire solutions, particularly ClaimCenter, to meet business requirements. They work with various Guidewire modules, integrate systems, and ensure seamless functionality by troubleshooting issues and performing unit and integration testing.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions for Guidewire ClaimCenter based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Customize ClaimCenter to meet client-specific business needs using Guidewire Studio and Java.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work on the integration of ClaimCenter with other Guidewire products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) and external systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in ClaimCenter and related applications.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for coding and development standards.
- Develop and maintain Guidewire ClaimCenter configurations, including workflows, business rules, and data models.
- Implement and maintain web services, integrations, and messaging services for seamless data exchange between systems.
- Perform unit and integration testing of customizations and configurations.
- Work with testing teams to ensure end-to-end functionality of the system, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and performance testing.
- Stay up to date with new features and enhancements in Guidewire ClaimCenter and other Guidewire products.
- Contribute to the documentation of technical designs, processes, and user guides.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Guidewire Developer, specifically with ClaimCenter.
- Strong knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter modules, including claim workflows, business rules, and data configurations.
- Proficient in Guidewire Studio, Java, and XML.
- Solid understanding of Guidewire ClaimCenter integration with external systems and data sources.
- Familiarity with SQL and database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues in ClaimCenter.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and business teams.
