Our client is seeking a Senior Information Security Consultant to implement security best practices, transform tooling, and streamline processes. Your expertise will support control owners to effectively manage threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation and improvement of vulnerability management strategies, leveraging industry-leading tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to design and implement secure solutions that align with business objectives.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and threat modeling to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
- Promote a strong security culture through awareness campaigns and training programs.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on vulnerability management and security posture.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, standards, and technologies, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and SIEM.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving security issues.
- A team player who can work effectively with diverse teams.
- Prior experience in the financial sector with enterprise level organisations is beneficial
