Paxus, a leading Australian IT recruitment agency is seeking an experienced, driven, and passionate IT Recruitment Consultant to join our Sydney team. In this role, you will focus on sourcing a diverse range of IT talent for the financial services sector, including Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts & more.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the entire candidate lifecycle, from initial screening contact to online interviewing through to offer stage, including reference checks.
  • Proactively source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including detailed database searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search, job ads, and more.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to candidates throughout their job search journey.
  • Partner closely with Account Managers to ensure a seamless experience for everyone involved.
  • Build strong relationships with top tech and digital talent, becoming their trusted career advisor.
  • Develop and maintain pools of candidates by Position and Skillset (as directed by team leader) to ensure fast response to job requirements.
  • Craft compelling job advertisements that showcase exciting opportunities.



Who You Are:

  • Proven experience in recruitment within the IT or digital sector.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive and results-oriented individual with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • A strong phone manner and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Experience using Bullhorn Recruitment Management system would be ideal.
  • Prior experience recruiting within Insurance or Financial domains is advantageous.
