Job description

Our client, a global resource company, is seeking an experienced LTE Network Engineer to join their growing team.

You will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge LTE communication solutions across our global operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the go-to expert, ensuring the right technical solutions are implemented to meet the unique demands of business.
  • Review vendor documentation, including designs and bill of materials, to guarantee they align with standards and best practices.
  • Actively participate in and approve factory acceptance testing and on-site configurations, ensuring seamless and reliable network performance.
  • Advocate for technical change management, developing and documenting clear plans that minimise disruption and maximise success.
  • Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring open communication and a shared understanding of project goals.
  • Provide expert technical leadership to our delivery vendors, ensuring their solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

About You

  • Strong foundation in LTE communications technologies, specialising in Core, Backhaul, Access, or Infrastructure.
  • Previous experience designing and delivering large-scale LTE network solutions in demanding environments.
  • Navigate complex change processes, effectively communicating technical information to a diverse audience.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Nokia products, particularly SAR-8, eNodeB, and NetAct.
  • Experience with large-scale, production-critical LTE networks and understand the importance of operational readiness.
  • Craft clear and concise documentation that effectively transitions project deliverable to our operational support teams.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
