THE ROLE
The Program Manager will oversee the establishment of the Department's new Program ensuring its structure and objectives align with the program's strategic goals. The initial requirements will be defining the scope, securing resources, and setting up governance mechanisms to guide the program execution.
DESCRIPTION
- Produce the required program and project documentation in accordance with the Departments Frameworks
- Ensure appropriate governance and assurance activities are in place including agile software development governance
- Develop and implement communication plans, organisational change management plans and benefit realisation plans.
- Liaise closely with all stakeholders
- Provide effective management of risks, issues, conflicts, change requests and priorities.
- Provide direction and support for the program and project teams.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the program and projects to all stakeholders.
- Ensure program and project administration activities are undertaken in accordance with internal governance and compliance practices.
