About the Role:
Our client is looking for a scrum master to facilitate ceremonies, monitor team performance, and help achieve squad and product goals. The scrum master will provide support within and outside the team's commitment to agile transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Product Owner to formulate and prioritise user stories, maximising value delivery.
- Train the Agile Squad on agile practices and the Agile plans, fostering a self-organised way of working.
- Lead Agile events such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Reviews, Refinement, and more.
- Remove impediments to help the Agile Squad become a self-managed, cross-functional team.
- Improve communication and collaboration between the Agile Squad, tribe, and the organisation.
- Be an ambassador for agile transformation within and outside the team.
- Identify and orchestrate agile training needs in alignment with Chapter Leads.
Requirements:
- Strong transformation experience within enterprise-level organisations
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and scrum theory.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM or PSM) with experience in multiple teams.
- Strong conflict management and organisational skills.
- Proven leadership experience and proactive approach to challenges.
- Prior experience in the insurance industry is beneficial, not essential
