Job Opportunity: Iteration Manager
Are you an experienced Iteration Manager with a passion for Agile principles and team leadership? One of our valued clients is seeking a dynamic professional to guide high-performing teams, ensure seamless project delivery, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and onboarding project teams, integrating them into the organisation, and providing a clear vision for the product. You'll facilitate communication between external groups and the project team, ensuring Agile principles are upheld and the team remains focused on priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard and integrate project teams into the organisation.
- Facilitate communication and information exchange between teams and stakeholders.
- Coach teams to improve quality, predictability, flow, and velocity using Agile principles.
- Lead continuous delivery practices and instill a culture of quality.
- Manage iteration planning, ensuring work is delivered on time and within scope.
- Oversee budget administration, risk and issue tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
- Promote shared accountability and support the development of self-organising teams.
- Liaise with other teams to manage dependencies and ensure smooth collaboration.
- Identify and remove blockers to maintain team momentum.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders by ensuring work transparency and managing change effectively.
- Support team participation in Agile Release Train (ART) events.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a refined and actionable backlog.
- Track and report key delivery metrics at the team level.
- Coach teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and ceremonies.
- Proven experience in iteration planning, delivery management, and team coaching.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve blockers effectively.
- Experience in fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Retail Banking experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Power Platform is desirable but not mandatory.
