Job Opportunity: Iteration Manager

Are you an experienced Iteration Manager with a passion for Agile principles and team leadership? One of our valued clients is seeking a dynamic professional to guide high-performing teams, ensure seamless project delivery, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and onboarding project teams, integrating them into the organisation, and providing a clear vision for the product. You'll facilitate communication between external groups and the project team, ensuring Agile principles are upheld and the team remains focused on priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard and integrate project teams into the organisation.
  • Facilitate communication and information exchange between teams and stakeholders.
  • Coach teams to improve quality, predictability, flow, and velocity using Agile principles.
  • Lead continuous delivery practices and instill a culture of quality.
  • Manage iteration planning, ensuring work is delivered on time and within scope.
  • Oversee budget administration, risk and issue tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Promote shared accountability and support the development of self-organising teams.
  • Liaise with other teams to manage dependencies and ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Identify and remove blockers to maintain team momentum.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders by ensuring work transparency and managing change effectively.
  • Support team participation in Agile Release Train (ART) events.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a refined and actionable backlog.
  • Track and report key delivery metrics at the team level.
  • Coach teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and ceremonies.
  • Proven experience in iteration planning, delivery management, and team coaching.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve blockers effectively.
  • Experience in fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Retail Banking experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MS Power Platform is desirable but not mandatory.
