- Initial 3 month contract with a high chance of an extension
- Must be able to work in the office at least 3 days a week (Melbourne, North Western suburbs).
- Must have demonstrated commercial experience in IT and information security skills
- Must have experience engaging with IT and business user to design Cybersecurity architecture and implement security solutions.
Our client is seeking an experienced Security Architect to join their team in Melbourne.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing a secure architecture that protects the organisation's infrastructure, assets and data.
- Selecting, implementing and managing security controls.
- Uplifting securing posture to align to best practices.
- Evaluating and selecting security vendors and managing security relationships with third party providers.
- Contributing to the Cybersecurity strategies.
- Defining and operating a framework of security controls and security management strategies.
To secure this role you will need:
- Experience developing and defining cybersecurity architecture
- Solid Cyber and IT Risk management principles
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISSAP or equivalent needed
- Proven specialised skills and experience in information security a must
- Government experience would be highly regarded
