One of Australia's largest financial institutions are after a Software Engineer with expertise in .NET development and Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions. You'll be focused on building secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications, enhancing digital identity experiences for millions of users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications with a focus on secure authentication and identity management.
- Integrate CIAM solutions into new and existing platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, security teams, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality features.
- Implement best practices in code quality, security, and performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET Framework development.
- Proven experience working with CIAM platforms (e.g., Azure AD B2C, Okta, Auth0, Ping Identity, etc.).
- Knowledge of authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and modern application security principles.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
