Job description

  • 6 month contract + potential for extension
  • Day rate around $650 depending on provided experience
  • Hybrid Working Environment - WFH/Office

One of Australia's largest financial institutions are after a Software Engineer with expertise in .NET development and Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions. You'll be focused on building secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications, enhancing digital identity experiences for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications with a focus on secure authentication and identity management.
  • Integrate CIAM solutions into new and existing platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with product managers, security teams, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality features.
  • Implement best practices in code quality, security, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET Framework development.
  • Proven experience working with CIAM platforms (e.g., Azure AD B2C, Okta, Auth0, Ping Identity, etc.).
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and modern application security principles.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
