Job description

We are seeking a skilled Solution Designer to lead the lifecycle management of Fixed Network EMS/NMS solutions across IP, Microwave, and Optical domains. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to design, enhance, and implement network management solutions, ensuring they meet operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement EMS/NMS solutions providing FCAPS functionality for IP, Microwave, and Optical networks.
  • Analyse requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient designs.
  • Oversee solution development, testing, and implementation until operational handover.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Provide governance and technical expertise for existing EMS/NMS solutions.
  • Document solution designs and ensure compliance with project goals.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years in OSS Solution Design, including EMS/NMS experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IP, Microwave, and Optical Transport technologies (e.g., MPLS, DWDM, SDH).
  • Familiarity with network protocols like SNMP, NetFlow, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and software development lifecycles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
