Job description

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Spatial Technical Analyst to join our clients Enterprise Spatial Platform team. In this role, you will support the delivery of spatial ICT projects and programs, working across various industries for government agencies and commercial organisations. This position is part of a program team focused on implementing our Enterprise Spatial Strategy through a multi-year program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyse ArcGIS spatial products and services to support spatial strategy initiatives.
  • Configure and implement ArcGIS spatial solutions that align with the spatial strategy.
  • Collaborate with the program team to identify ArcGIS products and services that meet organisational needs.
  • Prepare documentation detailing the benefits, impacts, delivery approach, and governance requirements for each proposed solution.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to configure and implement solution deliverables.
  • Deliver spatial strategy initiatives and solutions, including solution proposals with governance requirements and configurations tailored to business needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in interpreting spatial strategies and frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of ArcGIS spatial products and services.
  • Strategic thinking in applying spatial products to various business processes.
  • Ability to communicate and deliver spatial value to business stakeholders.
  • Experience in spatial service delivery within a large organisation.
  • Knowledge of Web GIS and the ability to configure web and mobile applications.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability to prepare high-quality documentation for both business and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with staff from diverse technical disciplines, as well as with customers, suppliers, project managers, and stakeholders.
