Job description
Our client, a global mining company, is seeking a Transmission Engineer to join their growing team on contract basis.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, and document network infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
- Commission network infrastructure across corporate, production, and process control environments.
- Review and approve comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, bills of materials, and scope of works.
- Execute detailed change management plans, encompassing implementation, back-out, and testing procedures.
- Be the point of contact for all Transmission related technical queries.
Requirements:
- Experience with Point to Point microwave radio design, construction and commissioning
- Expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (REP, STP, OSPF, BGP).
- Familiarity with HTZ Telecom microwave planning tool and ACMA licensing requirements
- Experience with PDH/SDH Transmission equipment design, construction and commissioning.
- Experience with Nokia and Ericsson is desirable.
