Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Workday HR Functional Consultant to join our team, specializing in Workday HCM implementations and configurations. The ideal candidate will bring a robust HR background and substantial experience with Workday's HR modules. Responsibilities include gathering and interpreting business requirements, designing tailored solutions, configuring the Workday platform, and providing support to end-users through training and troubleshooting. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and efficient Workday experience across our HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and implementing Workday HCM solutions, focusing on modules like core HR, compensation, absence, benefits, and talent management.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to assess business needs, identify process gaps, and deliver Workday-driven solutions that streamline HR workflows.
- Maintain the efficient operation of the Workday system, resolve technical and functional issues, respond to user inquiries, and perform root cause analysis for issue prevention.
- Develop, enhance, and integrate HR business processes within the Workday platform to ensure smooth functionality and automated workflows.
- Oversee data migration activities, maintain data accuracy, and generate custom reports and dashboards in Workday for meaningful HR metrics and insights.
- Create and update user guides, deliver training sessions for HR teams, and equip them to effectively utilize Workday functionalities.
- Lead testing efforts for system updates, new configurations, and platform changes to guarantee consistent performance. Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with HR stakeholders.
- Ensure that Workday configurations meet organizational standards and uphold data privacy and security requirements.
Experience:
- Over 3 years of practical experience as a Workday Functional Consultant or in an HRIS role with a focus on Workday HCM.
- Expertise in configuring Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, and Talent.
- Proficient in Workday reporting, data management, and business process design.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM, security settings, and integration functions.
- Skilled in data analysis, building Workday reports, and advanced Excel usage.
- Workday HCM certification or relevant Workday training is preferred.
- Experience with additional Workday modules such as Recruiting, Payroll is preferred.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, data privacy, and compliance standards is preferred.
