Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join their dynamic Technology Audit & Risk team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about technology risk, control testing, and audit, offering a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of technology controls within a leading financial institution.

As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for executing technology audits across various business units. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify technology risks, assess control frameworks, and evaluate their effectiveness in mitigating those risks. A critical component of the role will involve thorough documentation of audit processes, conclusions, and evidence in line with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess technology risks within audit units.
  • Perform detailed evaluations of technology controls.
  • Ensure audits are completed within agreed timeframes, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Contribute to identifying emerging technology trends, new regulations, and their potential impact on the organisation's risk landscape.
  • Contribute to broader Group Audit initiatives to further develop your professional skill set.

About You:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in IT audit or risk management, preferably within the banking and finance sector.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, service management, application security, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Industry certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) are highly desirable.
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, data visualisation tools) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to leverage data analytics skills to enhance the effectiveness of audits.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present audit findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong report writing abilities and the capacity to build relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

Career Progression: This role offers significant opportunities for career progression. High-performing individuals will have the chance to take on more complex audits, lead projects, and mentor junior team members.

If you are looking to contribute to a forward-thinking organisation and develop your career in the technology audit and risk space, we encourage you to apply.
