Job description
Our client is a large Queensland government department, and they currently require a Business Analyst to join them on a contract through to end of December 2024 + possible extensions on offer. This role is based in Brisbane CBD + flexible work from home on offer.
The Role:
We have a need for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Business Readiness team within the department.
The Business readiness team consists of 40 people, and is primarily responsible for supporting change and development of learning and development for front line department staff across the state.
Projects range from small/medium to statewide initiatives and the Business Analyst would be responsible for project scoping, analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solution to enhance efficiency and productivity
The Business Analyst is required to assist with Identifying business process improvement opportunities using a number of techniques.
Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years as a business analyst working in a similar environment.
- Experience working with BPMN
- Experience with "AS IS" and "TO BE"
- Experience with Power BI Reporting.
- Stakeholder management experience
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements.
- Project Scoping & Co-ordination
- Process Modelling
