Job description

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Desktop/ Deployment Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Windows 10 to 11 migrations. This role is crucial in architecting and implementing a new Standard Operating Environment or Managed Operating Environment from the ground up, ensuring smooth transition and optimization. You'll be working across key technologies such as Microsoft Autopilot, PowerShell scripting, and SharePoint (with a focus on forms), while packaging and deploying applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Windows 10 to 11 migration from an architecture perspective, recreating and optimizing SOE/MOE.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Endpoint Manager, ensuring effective device management and compliance.
  • Create and deploy application packages, leveraging advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and task optimization.
  • Implement and configure Microsoft Autopilot for zero-touch deployments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design, build, and manage SharePoint forms, improving user experience and automation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application packaging, device management, and deployment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing Microsoft Endpoint Manager suite (including Intune, Autopilot).
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation, packaging, and system management.
  • Strong knowledge of application packaging and deployment processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in Windows 10 to 11 migration projects, focusing on SOE/MOE architecture.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Autopilot and zero-touch deployment processes.
  • Experience with SharePoint forms, including customization and integration with business processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
