Job Description:

Enterprise Architect is responsible for establishing the Enterprise Architecture framework, including its artifacts and processes. They ensure the consistency and integrity of the architecture repository while also guiding key IT projects to align with and achieve the future state architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and sustain an architectural framework that aligns the technology strategy with the organization's business objectives.
  • Design, document, and implement an Enterprise Architecture Governance model that adheres to established industry frameworks, ensuring that architectural standards are defined and followed.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gain insight into business requirements and translate these into effective IT solutions.
  • Evaluate and manage the integration of both new and existing systems to enhance business objectives and processes.
  • Lead the formulation and execution of technology standards, guidelines, and principles.
  • Identify opportunities where technology can enhance business processes and increase productivity.
  • Provide insights on emerging technologies.
  • Develop and enforce comprehensive architecture governance in line with IT principles.
  • Support the development and delivery processes, promoting enhancements in automation, software quality, and Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to effectively plan for and manage organizational change.
  • Ensure that enterprise-level principles, standards, and guidelines are maintained.
  • Oversee architecture and design governance while ensuring the integrity, relevance, and up-to-date status of the technology target state.



Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in architecture within large and intricate environments.
  • Extensive expertise in Enterprise Architecture, capable of working across multiple domains (such as applications, integrations, data, infrastructure) and managing multiple projects.
  • Proficient in various Enterprise Architecture models, methodologies, principles, policies, and standards.
  • Experience in facilitating an Architecture Review Board.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for effectively engaging with all organizational levels in both business and IT.
  • Proactively monitor and assess emerging technologies and trends to uncover opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
  • Excellent collaboration and persuasive skills, particularly in cross-functional work and with teams throughout the organization.
  • High emotional intelligence, a growth-oriented mindset, and strong people leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships across different business units and produce architectural artifacts that support and guide decision-making.
  • Proficient in preparing and assessing RFPs/RFIs/RFQs aimed at achieving both commercial and technological objectives.
  • A diverse technical and business architectural background, successfully delivering enterprise and business solution architectures.
  • Skilled in balancing project and program goals with organizational objectives, while also considering both tactical and strategic drivers.
  • TOGAF certification or a comparable IT architectural credential, along with practical knowledge is nice to have.
  • Proven experience in both Agile and traditional structured delivery environments is nice to have.
