THE ROLE
As a Geospatial Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and analysing spatial datasets, developing geospatial solutions, and supporting decision-making through mapping and spatial analysis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced GIS tools, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to projects that shape industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform spatial data management, analysis, and visualisation using GIS software.
- Develop geospatial solutions and automate workflows to enhance data efficiency.
- Utilise remote sensing techniques to extract insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with various teams to integrate geospatial data into broader project frameworks.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Stay up to date with emerging geospatial technologies and methodologies.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in GIS, spatial analysis, and remote sensing.
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of spatial databases and data management.
- Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for geospatial automation is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret and communicate spatial data insights effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
