Job Summary:
The Integration Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions using Talend. You will work closely with business and IT teams to integrate multiple systems, ensuring seamless data flow across various platforms. This role requires strong technical expertise, a passion for problem-solving, and a focus on delivering high-quality integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Talend Data Integration to connect various data sources and applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement and optimize data workflows, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and data accuracy.
- Perform system integration, troubleshooting, and resolving complex data issues across diverse platforms.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, process flow diagrams, and user manuals.
- Monitor integration processes and implement performance tuning and improvements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.
- Work with other developers, architects, and analysts to develop and integrate APIs, databases, and applications.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance analysis of integration jobs.
- Stay up to date with the latest Talend and data integration technologies to continuously improve the development process.
- PeopleSoft or Microsoft Dynamics experience is desirable.
- Experience with Talend Cloud is mandatory to have.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data integration, ETL development, and working with Talend (Talend Data Integration, Talend Cloud, or other Talend products).
- Strong experience with ETL tools and techniques, including complex transformations, data mapping, and error handling.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) and writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience integrating various data sources such as ERP systems, REST/SOAP APIs, flat files, and cloud-based applications.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with API development and integration, including RESTful and SOAP services.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, version control, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver quality solutions on time.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Talend certification or other related data integration certifications.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly with cloud-based data integration solutions.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
