Client is looking for a Kronos Functional Consultant who is responsible for overseeing the governance, design, and configuration of new Workforce Management solutions, as well as providing ongoing operational support for these systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and pinpoint key features in Enhancement and Service packs that align with current and future needs, offering recommendations tailored to the organization.
  • Collaborate in crafting both conceptual and logical designs for new business solutions, effectively communicating these designs to the Service Delivery Team, and overseeing implementation to ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Work closely with development and testing teams to carry out application testing, covering new support packages, releases, features, and customizations.
  • Propose solution designs for identified gaps, providing effort estimates for each option.
  • Draft and review Functional Specifications created by others to address gaps based on the selected solution.
  • Support the identification of process and change impacts resulting from chosen solution designs.
  • Assist the Project Manager or Scrum Master with managing scope, issues, and risks.
  • Validate solutions post-development through unit testing and aid in creating test case scripts for system and user testing.
  • Configure and review the configurations of other consultants to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support, addressing application-related issues as required.
  • Facilitate the transition of newly implemented solutions into operational support.
  • Work with a DevOps squad to deliver and maintain both new and existing solutions/applications.

Essential Criteria:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Kronos Time & Attendance, as well as Forecasting and Scheduling.
  • Capability to design and develop solutions that are both business-aligned and easily maintainable.
  • Proven experience leading teams of both permanent and contract functional resources, ensuring high-quality, timely solution delivery.
  • Track record of success with Kronos implementations, project management, and ongoing support.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end development processes and methodologies.
  • Experience working within Agile frameworks and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and solution development.
  • Extensive background in solution design with a focus on meeting business needs.
  • Workforce Dimensions experience is highly desirable.
