Our client is a large Queensland Government department, and they are currently on the hunt for a Program Manager. This role will be initially 12 months with extensions on offer. It is based in Brisbane CBD + flexible working from home hybrid arrangements are on offer.
Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager with extensive expertise in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), particularly in finance, to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in conducting a comprehensive feasibility study and business case for options for a new enterprise-wide solution.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar program management role with a strong focus on ERP systems, preferably within the public sector but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for complex IT projects.
- Proven ability to manage vendors to deliver required outcomes within agreed timeframes and budget.
- Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgetary aspects of sizeable technology projects.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery, utilising both traditional and agile methodologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management qualifications are considered highly desirable.
