Our client, a large NSW government department, is seeking a Project Coordinator to design and deliver a 12-month calendar of events to ensure an increase in home ownership for disadvantaged individuals. This worthwhile and purposeful role is based in Coffs Harbour (a city on the north coast of New South Wales).

Essential Requirements:

  • Administer the Home Buyer Saver grants program, requiring probity.
  • Processing of grant applications.
  • Again, be responsible for the design and delivery of a 12-month calendar of events across the region to ensure Home Ownership opportunities increase each financial year.
  • Be innovative in the delivery of engagement activity with all stakeholders, including the use of technology where appropriate and provide support to home buyers with signposting and education.
  • Provide accurate and up to date data and analysis on the delivery of the Ownership Program including establishing and maintaining core internal and external data sets to meet the analysis and reporting needs of the organisation.
  • Prepare a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including status updates, reports, budgets and discussion papers to manage the flow of information.
  • Lead specific projects as directed by Program Manager; Home Ownership, to support the broader program.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Ensure high quality delivery, across a large geographical footprint with diverse communities, in an environment characterised by conflicting priorities and multiple stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging issues and suggesting potential improvements to business processes and workflows in consultation with external and internal stakeholders in an environment of ongoing change.
  • Maintain an understanding of the housing market in the region, including horizon scanning for risks, issues and opportunities related to the Ownership Program.
