Job description
My client is searching for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a variety of multidisciplinary projects.
The successful candidate will support the design management with both internal stakeholders and external design partners to ensure the designs are approved. The day to day is focused on documentation, scope definition, safety in design, and being across multi-disciplinary projects (i.e. electrical, mechanical and civil aspects of the project) at various stages.
Please note - This role will require occasional travel across NSW (once or twice a month).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for various projects.
- Review technical specifications, drawings and engineering designs.
- Work collaboratively with all key stakeholders to ensure technical specifications and scope of works for internal and external delivery partners are developed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in design and production.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the utilities or industrial sector
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
