Job description
Our client, a global leader in the resources sector, is looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Specialist to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to drive the development and strategic growth of the ServiceNow platform while ensuring its stability, supportability, and compliance.
In this role, you'll divide your time between platform development and strategic consultation, focusing on enhancing business efficiency, reducing manual tasks through automation, and integrating new capabilities. The position requires an onsite presence, with the option to work from home one day per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
* Collaborate with technology teams and business stakeholders to define the vision and direction for the ServiceNow platform.
* Contribute to the development and execution of tactical and strategic plans that align with operational needs and business objectives.
Platform Development & Engineering
* Lead the design and implementation of new ServiceNow capabilities based on business processes and requirements.
* Develop, integrate, and customize ServiceNow applications to meet business needs.
* Oversee ServiceNow application development and platform integrations, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose.
* Leverage ServiceNow reporting tools and Performance Analytics to provide data-driven insights.
Operational Management
* Administer daily platform operations, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity across ITSM, ITOM, Service Portfolio Management, and Source to Pay modules.
* Manage ServiceNow platform upgrades, ensuring smooth execution and best practice adherence.
* Implement security settings, access controls, and compliance protocols.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of ServiceNow experience, including development, administration, and implementation.
* Proven experience leading platform upgrades.
* Familiarity with ITILv3 or equivalent service delivery methodologies.
* ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certifications are required.
