Job description

1. Position Purpose
» Lead and drive the deployment and operation of various enterprise core systems, line of business
applications, Information Management, and Integration platforms to ensure security processes,
practices, capabilities and intelligence are embedded into the underlying platforms and
toolchains.
» Lead Support teams, to coordinate routine and ad-hoc testing and maintenance of application
architecture and tools enables the speedy development and release of software in order to
empower and support a future ready organisational.
» Provide technical expertise and leverage technical capabilities to deliver operational outcomes to
meet stakeholder needs which are aligned with organisational strategic priorities and direction.
Responsibilities
Application Support
» Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and provide expert advice on system,
process and reporting queries and issues. Act as a business partner while identifying business
challenges within the Application Enterprise ensuring recommendations maintain Architectural
and Application Principles.
» Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of critical software applications by monitoring,
troubleshooting, and resolving incidents and problems.


» Maintain and meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for
application support.
» Develop Monthly reports on incidents and requests, track Application Support performance,
analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions.
» Deliver effective cybersecurity practices by addressing and/or escalate Application security
vulnerabilities/ risk.
» Capture and problem solve issues and queries, working in collaboration with subject matter
experts and key stakeholders to resolve and/or escalate to Engineering as required.
» Coordinate system maintenance and monitoring across a diverse range of applications and
business systems.
» Monitoring and managing operational budget and resources for Application Support team
» Lead the development, testing and implementation of changes to systems, including changes
arising from software patches or business improvement processes, ensuring that suitable
systems development and testing processes are in place for effective management of software
packaging and releases.
» Lead the development and maintenance of documentation relevant to systems support, including
system administration and support procedures and training materials.
