Job description

Drive a high-impact digital project improving access to information and services for NSW residents. As a Technical Business Analyst, you'll design and develop solutions that meet diverse stakeholder needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams for project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Requirements Sessions: Gather and define project requirements, working with development teams and SMEs.
  • Set Standards: Collaborate with BAs, architects, and developers to establish best practices.
  • Functional Design: Create high-level functional designs that align with business goals.
  • Platform Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies for Pega platform requirements and ensure alignment with features.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Lead design discussions with stakeholders for effective system integration.
  • Agile Project Support: Assist the delivery manager in managing project scope, timing, and risks.
  • Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritise the functional backlog, aligning stakeholders.
  • Risk and Testing: Identify project risks, contribute to testing strategies, and ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Issue Escalation: Communicate any resource or technical roadblocks to the delivery manager.

About You

  • Previous relevant experience working for Government Departments
  • 3-5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Proficiency with or exposure to Pega systems (v8+) is highly desirable
  • Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with high attention to detail
