Our client is a key regulatory body responsible for upholding quality, safety, and consumer independence in a nationally significant sector. With the sector experiencing significant growth and evolution since its inception, the organisation faces critical challenges that require transformative solutions. To address these, the Australian Federal Government has allocated substantial funding for a comprehensive IT upgrade aimed at enhancing system functionality, responsiveness, and risk management capabilities.

This multi-year transformation program will be delivered by a large, multidisciplinary team and demands specialised ICT and professional service expertise to ensure success.

What we're looking for:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist with expertise in security governance, risk, and compliance, including practical experience with ISM and Essential 8 frameworks. The ideal candidate excels in agile environments, risk assessments for greenfield projects, and delivering high-quality reports for diverse audiences. Experience with Federal Government governance structures and the sector is a strong advantage.

  • Open to ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA
  • 18 month contract + extension option
  • Hybrid work approach
  • Must have NV1 clearance
