.Net Developer
- Work on the delivery of various ICT Projects across the Division
- Long term role: Till June 2025 with 2x 12 months extensions
- Develop and maintain application using .Net
About the role
Work with the federal government department on a range of operations and services to deliver ICT projects using .Net, .Net core, ASP .Net etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Azure based web API and Portal applications to support existing legislative reporting requirements, and new regulatory processes.
- Be able to integrate various system components to achieve a seamless end to end experience for users
- Provide technical advice on issues related to systems development
- Apply secure coding practices/processes to ensure solutions delivered are secure and robust
- Conduct peer reviews of code and infrastructure
- Understand and code against detailed application architecture documents
- Ensure that best practice and Departmental standards are applied and managed
- Create and review technical/release documentation
- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Effectively collaborate with a cross-functional team working with an agile structure
- Collaborate and mentor team members to promote team harmony and support cross-skilling professional development
- Instil a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a team environment
- Undertake additional duties as required
Technical skills
Min 5 years experience in: * implementing secure web-based business solutions. * developing web APIs using Azure API Manager and customer facing web portal development using .NET Framework (including .NET Core) and ASP.NET * developing web applications using either Angular or React * Familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM), it's controls and how to apply them to a solution design and build * Unit/integration/automation testing. Familiarity with xUnit, Selenium, Playwright.Net.
