Job description

Our client, a multi-international tech company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Technician to join their team in Collie, WA.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical infrastructure within a collaborative and supportive team environment. (Week days and day shifts only, 6:30am to 4pm).

Key Responsibilities:

  • ProvideL1-L2 technical support for end-users, resolving issues related to:
    • Desktop and laptop computers
    • Printers and peripherals
    • Network connectivity
    • Audiovisual equipment
    • Microsoft Office Suite and other standard applications
    • Telephoning and Video confrencing tools
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, hardware replacements, and system configuration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, escalating to higher-tier support when necessary.
  • Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Adhere to strict security protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Manual driver's license and on-site mining experience is highly prefered.
