As a Grants Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating and managing grants aimed at supporting innovative projects contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage grant proposals and projects in line with our department's objectives.
- Grant assessments
- Grant funding agreements
- Scope, procure and manage contracts
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure projects align with environmental sustainability and energy goals.
- Oversee the entire grant process, from application review to project implementation and evaluation.
- Provide support and guidance to grant applicants, offering assistance throughout the application process.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with grant agreements and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, public administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing grants or projects in the environmental, energy, or sustainability sector.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of environmental policies, climate change issues, and grant management principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and drive projects to successful completion.
