We are searching for someone who is passionate about driving positive change in environmental sustainability, energy, and climate action? We're looking for a dedicated and dynamic Grants Project Officer to join our government department's mission in creating a greener, more sustainable future!

As a Grants Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating and managing grants aimed at supporting innovative projects contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage grant proposals and projects in line with our department's objectives.
  • Grant assessments
  • Grant funding agreements
  • Scope, procure and manage contracts
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure projects align with environmental sustainability and energy goals.
  • Oversee the entire grant process, from application review to project implementation and evaluation.
  • Provide support and guidance to grant applicants, offering assistance throughout the application process.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with grant agreements and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, public administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing grants or projects in the environmental, energy, or sustainability sector.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of environmental policies, climate change issues, and grant management principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and drive projects to successful completion.
