Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Specialist to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will provide expert-level support for our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and seamless operations across multiple sites. You will work primarily within Cisco and Fortinet environments, focusing on troubleshooting, configuration, and critical system support, with an emphasis on Operational Technology (OT) networks and Process Control Networks (PCNs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Management & Troubleshooting: Deliver Level 1-2 support for fixed and wired networks, diagnosing and resolving issues onsite and across multiple locations.
- Configuration & Updates: Configure, patch, and update Layer 2/3 networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- OT Network & Critical Systems Support: Provide support for critical control systems, with a focus on OT networks and PCNs. Experience with SCADA systems or other industrial control networks is a strong advantage.
- Network Security: Implement and monitor firewalls, manage change control processes, and ensure secure backup and recovery mechanisms are in place.
- Technology & Vendor Expertise: Work with advanced networking technologies, including VPN, MPLS, SD-WAN, and protocols across Cisco and Fortinet systems.
