Project Manager

Are you ready to make a real impact by delivering cutting-edge data solutions? We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Enterprise Data Platform. This exciting role offers the opportunity to shape a critical project that will enable data-driven insights and innovation. This role is in Queensland Government department based in Brisbane with some WFH on offer.

About the Role

As a Data Platform Project Manager, you will:

  • Drive the design and delivery of a scalable, secure, and compliant Enterprise Data Platform.
  • Manage resources, risks, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Implement agile project management methodologies to meet tight deadlines.
  • Lead testing, documentation, and transition to business as usual.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to define integration and access requirements.

What We're Looking For

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in agile project management within a data platform environment.
  • Expertise in data platform design, data governance, and data modeling.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability with a track record of delivering innovative data solutions.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in data science, computer science, or related fields. Certifications in project or data management are a plus.
