Job description

Location: ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC

Duration: 12 months with 2 x 12 months extensions

PAXUS pays weekly

Work arrangements: Hybrid

Baseline clearance is preferred for this role

Our client is seeking an experienced Siebel Developer with expertise in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) to design, develop, and maintain seamless integrations between Siebel and external systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in EAI frameworks, web services (SOAP/REST), and middleware technologies, alongside proven problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and optimise workflows. Key responsibilities include developing reusable integration solutions, configuring Siebel components, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver robust, business-aligned results.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Siebel and external systems.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Siebel architecture, EAI, and web services.
  • Have experience with developing EAI solutions using business services, workflows, integration objects, web services (SOAP/REST), XML, JMS, JSON.
  • Possess highly developed problem-solving skills and have experience with troubleshooting integration workflows and web services.
  • Be familiar with Oracle Fusion Middleware.

Key duties may include, but not limited to:

  • Translate business requirement into technical documents.
  • Develop and enhance Siebel EAI solutions to connect with external enterprise application.
  • Design and develop re-usable Siebel EAI frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain integration interfaces using web services (SOAP/REST), XML,JMS, JSON with enterprise middleware technologies.
  • Configure and customize Siebel EAI components, including data mappings, transformations, and error handling mechanisms.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for EAI solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug integration issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate technical concepts to senior and non-technical staff in a cohesive and digestible manner.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.
