Location: ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC

Duration: 12 months with potential 2 x 12 months extensions

We are seeking an experienced Siebel OpenUI developer to join our client's Siebel Development Team. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be responsible for designing and developing Siebel OpenUI solutions to enhance the user experience of our Siebel applications.
  • Possess in-depth expertise in Siebel OpenUI framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with a strong understanding of Siebel architecture.
  • Be able to customise the Siebel UI using Presentation Models, Physical Renderers and the Siebel Open UI Framework.
  • Be experienced in developing responsive and user-friendly user interfaces.
  • Have the ability to develop Open UI themes, templates and layouts to meet business requirements.
  • Have knowledge of Open UI architecture and best practices for optimising performance and scalability
  • Be experienced with version control systems such as GIT.
  • Possess good understanding of UI/UX design and development principles.
  • Liaise with key business stakeholders and other IT teams to meet project objectives.

Key duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and customize WCAG compliant Siebel OpenUI applications to enhance user experience and functionality.
  • Create custom JavaScript, HTML, and CSS solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Create re-usable OpenUI frameworks.
  • Customize Siebel views, applets, and controls using OpenUI framework.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them to technical specifications.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security of the developed solutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Siebel OpenUI customisations.
  • Communicate technical concepts to senior and non-technical staff in a cohesive and digestible manner.
