About the role
SAP SuccessFactors Payroll EC Consultant is a highly specialised role responsible for working with the SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) module, particularly focusing on payroll processes and integration with Employee Central, which is SAP's cloud-based human resources information system (HRIS).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs related to payroll processes.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP EC payroll solutions to meet business requirements and compliance standards.
- Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the successful implementation of payroll solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and support for SAP EC payroll module, including troubleshooting issues, resolving system errors, and optimizing system performance.
- Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation to support the adoption of SAP EC payroll solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to SAP EC payroll solutions and incorporate them into the organization's processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and IT, to integrate SAP EC payroll solutions with other systems and processes.
- Participate in ongoing maintenance activities, such as system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, to ensure the reliability and scalability of SAP EC payroll solutions.
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SAP certification in Employee Central (EC) payroll module is required.
- Proven experience (10+ years) working as a SAP EC Consultant with a focus on payroll solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Employee Central Payroll module, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Experience with system implementation methodologies, such as SAP Activate or ASAP methodology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
